I qualified as a chartered accountant in 1987, and went on to work for KPMG for a few years before joining an exciting and fast growing new specialist practice, Fanshawe Lofts, in 1991 to become their investigation and Corporate Finance resource. I became a partner in 1994, leading the development of Fanshawe Lofts’ corporate finance capability while working closely with the corporate recovery team to run and sell businesses. I was a key member of the team that developed Fanshawe Lofts’ reputation and growth through the 90’s and early noughties.

In addition to my chartered accountancy qualification I also hold the ICAEW Corporate Finance qualification and have an MBA from Reading University (1998).

In 2008 we (that is Antony and I) were approached by a national firm who were keen to expand into our home market place and so we decided to sell the Fanshawe Lofts business to them. Having left that firm, in early 2013, Antony and I set up FPN to offer our corporate finance, recovery and strategic advisory services to owner managed businesses.

As you see, although we are a new practice we are a very well established team, playing again to our strengths, but this time around with more of an emphasis on corporate finance. We have already completed a number of high profile transactions and have a strong pipeline.

My clients tell me that I am a strong analytical thinker, someone who can see a route through complexity to sometimes unusual, but straightforward solutions, a good communicator, and very determined to achieve a result for my client.

I am comfortable working with companies of all shapes and sizes. Having run and sold my own business I empathise with business owners and the issues they face. It always gives me a buzz to see them realise the fruits of their labours.

I am a huge fan of Wales and Welsh rugby, I have a rugby playing son and two daughters, and three dogs. I love horse riding and running and am building a family house with my husband.
